Why not have a news page, like we do on southport.gb?.
You could have your own ots (phil) zooming round Preston taking piccies.
All we do on our site is ring ots up or text him with what is happening. Most people dont bother with the local papers here anymore. We get all our news off Southport.gb.

Hello Paul & everyone,
I'm sure a PRESTON FAMILY HISTORY FORUM would attract many visitors from world-wide.
Sub-forums could be for different surnames. If you agree that this is a good idea, I would like to start this off with.............. surname SMITH, and letting everyone know about my project......

I agree about a geneology forum, but not so, about subforums for individual Surnames. One forum, one post for each individuals surname perhaps?
Thanks for the idea, what do the others think?

Some sort of error occurred and Ian wasn't around to help me out, so I did a little googleing and found the fix, sorry for the inconvenience.

You are welcome Les, remember, if there is anything you want to discuss or talk about, you can do it here on these pages. If you have old photos of Preston and would like them aired on the internet, you can email them to me and I will add them to the gallery. If you have some Preston related stories to share, email them and I will add them to the articles page.
Thanks again, Paul.

Hi Les,
Was that the Fishwick Reunion at the Acregate Lane Cub?
My cousin Geoff Ditchfield has just been telling me all about it. He reckons it was brilliant and he is really glad he went. He met up with a lot of old mates including Jack Birstall. He forgot to get Jack's address and phone number before he left. If anyone knows it please let me know and I will pass it on to Geoff.
There's nowt so queer as folk!!
They're aw queer 'cept thee an' me
