Visited Bury yesterday and took the camera. Have never been to Bury market before and have only visited the town a couple of times, in the line of duty, so have never has tim to appreciate it's finer points.

The Market was fantastic and well worth a visit. Also visited the Art gallery and Fusilier Museum that were also good.

The shopping centre is also modern and was busy yesterday.

Great photo's Mr Fell. I have never been to Bury either, it looks like a typical Lancashire town, the market looks super, and plenty of people about too. I'll be over there in April, I might just make a point of visiting Bury. Thanks for the effort.
I'm about to invest in a new digital camera, how many pixels does yours have ?

Mine has 10 MP - all you will ever need. I'm a bit of a Canon fan myself - but at the end of the day its what you want and like.

I got my new Canon G11 at Xmas and its everthing its cracked up to be and has had some pretty good reviews. The G 10 is pretty good as well. The only problem I've had with mine is the video is not Hi Def - and while its not bad video - the G9 (my previous camera now in the possesion of Mrs Fell) has Hi Def and that was excellent. Canon missed out there.

It's becoming quite the thing these days for camaras to have both video and stills and its worth bearing this in mind.

Anyway you can see the Canon G11 here http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Fi...t_G11/index.asp

That market looks really good something like that we once had here, those Black Puddings look really nice, might have to go over there sometime, thanks for the pictures Mr Fell I see it was a clear sky, no clouds, but I bet cold.
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
